The Weighting Game is a live art/theatre solo performance, critically commenting on the imposition of arranged marriages specific to Indian culture and Hindu religion. The piece manifests itself in durational performance tasks, aesthetics which resonate with Indian rituals and a weight so difficult to evade even for the strongest man. An exploration of our relationship with time, the freedom to love and a conversation with the unknown - such things we take for granted. Follow this visual journey and have the perceptive beauty of Indian marriage questioned.
